Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Special Education Teacher for a travel assignment in Saint Helens, OR. You will support students from kindergarten through high school, collaborating with the program administrator and general education staff to plan and implement individualized instruction.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and a state teaching certificate, with preferred endorsement (LBS1). Travel roles offer competitive weekly pay, benefits, and the chance to impact diverse learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations
• Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
