BlazerWorks is actively hiring passionate and qualified Special Education Teachers for on-site contract positions in school districts across the Philadelphia area.

We are currently seeking talented special educators to fill roles for the current school year, summer semester, and/or the 2025–2026 school year! These opportunities allow you to work with diverse student populations across multiple grade levels and caseload types. If you're a dedicated SPED teacher eager to make a lasting impact, we’d love to connect with you!

Special Education Teachers will provide individualized instruction and support for students with a variety of disabilities. Assignments may include self-contained classrooms, resource room support, or inclusion settings. You’ll work closely with school teams, families, and specialists to ensure students receive the resources they need to thrive.

We work with your preferences to find a role that fits your strengths, experience, and goals.

  • Develop and implement IEPs customized to meet student needs
  • Deliver differentiated instruction in self-contained, resource, or inclusion settings
  • Modify curriculum and teaching approaches based on student goals and learning styles
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
  • Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Apply effective classroom and behavior management strategies
  • Communicate regularly with families and team members to support student growth

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education
  • Experience with diverse learning needs strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and BIPs
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet various student needs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Multiple grade levels and caseload types available
  • Full-time, on-site positions with structured school-day hours
