Job summary

Amergis, located in Parker, CO, is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our contract-based full-time staffing. The teacher will deliver quality services to K-12 students under the supervision of the Special Education Program Administrator and work closely with general education staff on planning and implementing individualized student programs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with valid state teaching certification and endorsements in Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or preferred from an accredited university.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state.
• Endorsements/LBS1 preferred.
• CPR and health screenings as per contract/state rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality services to special education students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Collaborate with Special Education Program Administrator and general education staff in planning and implementing student programs.
• Deliver specialized instruction, tutorial assistance, and consult with staff as needed.
