Uta Halee Academy (UHA) is a female-specific, residential program that offers young women opportunities to build productive and meaningful futures for themselves and their communities. Through rigorous education, positive skill development, and individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment, we empower youth to reach their full potential. The facility features residential student dormitories, on-site schooling, a dining hall, and extracurricular opportunities for the students. Pay: Candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of teaching experience who are hired to teach Special Education or hold Multi-Subject Credentials are eligible for a starting rate of $23.08. (Please note that candidates with more experience and multi-subject credentials have a higher starting salary rate.) The starting rate is $25.96 for those with a Master’s degree and 1 year of teaching experience and who are hired to teach Special Education or Multi-Subject Credentials. (Please note that candidates with more experience and multi-subject credentials have a higher starting rate.)
Serve as a member of the Education Department. Primarily responsible for implementing and adhering to the principles of Positive Organizational Culture and providing instructional services to students. Work collaboratively with staff in a supportive fashion, emphasizing a positive attitude toward students, staff, and program.
2-3 days per week, from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
