Job summary

Sunshine Learning Miami Inc. is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with four students in a small classroom.

You will assess each student’s needs and tailor instruction to support lasting academic and social growth. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and organized, with strong verbal and written communication skills and a deep understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and related conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
• Deep understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and related disorders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach in a 1:4 teacher to student ratio.
• Identify student needs and develop individualized solutions.
• Modify curriculum to meet each student’s needs.
• Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques.
• Create and enforce classroom rules and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
• Write and submit necessary reports.
