Job summary

Amergis is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide quality services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. You will contribute to planning and implementing individualized programs, working closely with general education staff to support academic and behavioral goals.

Responsibilities include special instruction, tutorial assistance, and ongoing consultation with classroom teams. A state teaching certificate and a Bachelor's degree are required or preferred, with LBS1

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field required or preferred.
• State teaching certificate as required by state and district regulations.
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.
• Valid CPR and health clearance as per policy.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience preferred.

The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator provides quality services to special education students, kindergarten through grade 12.
