Responsibilities:

Elementary School -

• Resource Classroom
• Support students with diverse learning needs through individualized instruction and targeted interventions within the general education setting.

Specialized Self-Contained Classroom Teachers -

• Autism Support
• Functional (Low-Incidence Disabilities)
• Emotional and Behavioral Disorders
• These teachers will provide specialized instruction and support in self-contained environments designed to meet the intensive needs of these student populations.

Middle School:

• Special Education Resource Teacher
• Deliver targeted support and academic interventions for students with disabilities within the general education curriculum.

Job Requirements:

• Active Special Education Certification in Kansas

Must be able to pass the following:
