Job summary

Staff Today Inc. in Kenosha, WI is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time long-term substitute role in an Autistic Support classroom serving grades 3–5. You will create and implement IEPs, provide tailored instruction, and collaborate with general education teachers and families.

You will assess student progress, offer necessary accommodations, and ensure FAPE in the least restrictive environment, upholding student rights throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be eligible for a Special Education license in the state of WI.
• Special Education Licensure - Verified on the DPI website.
• Minimum of 1 year related experience.
• Additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement IEPs for each student to meet their needs.
• Provide specialized instruction and adapt lessons for students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families.
