Jobot is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Students with Disabilities for a private Jersey City school. The role focuses on individualized instruction, IEP development, and progress documentation in a supportive, team-based environment.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM, with a salary range of $75,000 to $95,000 per year and a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement options.

• NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of the Handicapped Standard Certificate is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or higher.
• At least 2 years of experience working with children with disabilities.
• NJ Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification preferred, or willingness to pursue it within two years.

We’re a long-established special education organization that has been serving individuals with visual impairments and additional disabilities for more than a century. Programs support children and adults through specialized education, intervention, and community-based services.

We’re hiring a full-time 12 month with extended school year Teacher of Students with Disabilities to provide individualized instruction, develop IEPs, and support students with diverse learning, developmental, and physical needs. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-3:00 PM in Jersey City.
