Job summary

New Story Schools in Pennsylvania is seeking a dedicated Special Education teacher to support students ages 5–21 with autism and related challenges. You will develop individualized IEPs, deliver engaging instruction, and collaborate with therapists and staff to optimize learning outcomes.

The role emphasizes progress tracking, documentation, and leading classroom staff to implement student plans within a multidisciplinary team, with opportunities for professional growth and a supportive work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and PA Special Education certification.
• Minimum three months of experience with students with disabilities.
• Knowledge of child development and behavior management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs and lesson plans meeting each student’s needs.
• Deliver engaging instruction using varied teaching methods.
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Track progress and prepare required documentation and reports.

What You’ll Need
