Foxborough High School, part of Foxborough Public Schools, is seeking a dynamic Special Education Teacher to provide therapeutic interventions in inclusive and alternative settings for approximately 700 students and 80 staff.

The successful candidate will manage a caseload of around 12 students, collaborate with co-teachers, IEP teams, students and families, and contribute to a supportive, high-expectation learning environment for high school students of all abilities.

Qualificações

• Massachusetts DESE certification required.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

The successful candidate must be a strong, inclusive educator who can effectively promote student growth across their caseload of approximately 12 students and in a therapeutic/alternative setting. Applicants must also be strong communicators, have a demonstrated track record of working collaboratively with co-teachers, members of a student’s IEP Team, students, and families in support of students individualized educational plans, and have a passion for working with high school-aged students of all abilities.

Foxborough High School is an outstanding comprehensive college preparatory high school. 90% of our students go on to post secondary education opportunities, 75% to four-year schools, and 15% to two-year programs.Students take advantage of the range of educational opportunities offered at the high school, including an honors program with several advance course options in each discipline including Advanced Placement courses.In addition to a strong academic program, Foxborough High School is proud of its extracurricular program.
