Job summary

Amergis Educational Staffing, partnering with a Dracut, MA school, is hiring Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. The contract role runs Monday through Friday, 8:15am–3:00pm, with start ASAP.

ASD sub-separate setting, 9 students, 3 paraprofessional aides, and DESE licensure required. The ideal candidate holds a DESE license, preferably with LBS1 endorsement, and has at least one year of school-based experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state.
• Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred.
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.
• DESE licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement student programs in collaboration with general education staff.
• Provide tutorial assistance to students.
• Consult with general education staff to support individual education programs.
• Work in ASD sub-separate elementary setting with 9 students and 3 paras.
