LifeWorks School in Doylestown, PA is actively hiring certified Special Education Teachers for the 2025-2026 Academic School Year. A $10,000 Sign-On Bonus is offered for a certified Special Education Teacher.

LifeWorks Schools provide specialized educational and therapeutic services for students with social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges. This role includes IEP development, progress monitoring, and behavior management within a school setting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education required.
• PA certification in Special Education required.
• Content area certifications preferred.
• Prior experience with students with behavioral health challenges in a school setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides academic and functional instruction to students diagnosed with Autism or PDD in a school setting.
• Monitors student progress through data collection, observation, and other quantitative methods.
• Develops and monitors student’s IEPs, reports, goals, and objectives; attends IEP meetings.
• Manages student behavior through individualized motivational systems, SMART Program, and positive behavior support plans.

We are now offering a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for a certified Special Education Teacher!

The LifeWorks Schools are licensed specialty therapeutic day schools for students in middle and high school effected by social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges. LifeWorks comprehensive educational curriculum is individualized and designed to actively engage each student throughout the day to achieve positive, pro-social behavioral and educational outcomes. Our unique balance of academic rigor and a continuum of evidence based educational/therapeutic supports make LifeWorks the regional provider of choice.

The Special Education Teacher: p rovides academic and functional instruction to students diagnosed with Autism or Pervasive Developmental Disorder in a school setting; monitors student academic and functional achievement through data collection, observation, and other quantitative methods; observes and records student progress daily; develops and monitors student’s IEP, reports, goals, objectives, attend IEP meetings, establish, maintain, and work toward student goals as outlined in the IEP; manages student behavior through individualized motivational systems, S.M.A.R.T. Program and positive behavior support plans.
