Qualifications

Multiple Openings | Immediate Need Location: Dearborn, MI Area Pay Rate: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour (DOE) Duration: 2026-2027 School Year

Position Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations.


• Provide specialized instruction tailored to the individual needs of students with disabilities.


• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to ensure student success.


• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation and records.


• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions.


• Utilize data-driven instructional practices and behavior management strategies.

Qualifications

Required

• Valid Michigan Special Education Teaching Certification or eligibility to obtain certification


• Experience developing and implementing IEPs


• Strong understanding of special education laws, procedures, and best practices


• Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

Preferred

• Previous experience working in K-12 special education settings


• Experience supporting students with a variety of learning, behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs


• Strong knowledge of evidence-based instructional and behavioral interventions
