Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Valid teacher certification appropriate for the specific assignment and grade level as required by federal, state, or local regulations, including the No Child Left Behind Act.
• Prior experience or formal training in working with “at-risk” students is preferred.
• Proven ability to work in a polite and friendly manner with various constituencies including parents, students, and staff.
• Ability to effectively educate and manage students from diverse backgrounds and socio-economic levels.
• Experience in effectively handling conflict.

As a High School Teacher at RMA, you will implement the school's mission and educational standards while assisting in enforcing student conduct policies. Attending staff meetings, serving on committees, and fostering cooperative relationships with students, colleagues, and parents are essential.
