Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a SPED K-5 program in Carlsbad, NM. You will lead a dedicated classroom, develop and implement IEPs, and collaborate with families and staff to support each student's academic and social growth.

Qualifications

• New Mexico Teaching Certificate with SPED endorsement required.
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field required.
• 2–5 years experience with students with learning or social-emotional needs.
• Experience implementing curriculum and behavior interventions.

Responsibilities

• Lead SPED K-5 classroom supporting diverse learning needs.
• Develop and implement IEPs aligned to state standards.
• Manage PBIS program, track behavior, and communicate with parents.
• Supervise and direct paraprofessionals assigned to the classroom.
