Amergis Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a Special Education Teacher for a contract-full-time role in Carmichael, California. The teacher will deliver quality services to K-12 special education students under the program administrator's direction and collaborate with general education staff to plan and implement student programs.

Requirements include a state teaching certificate, relevant endorsements, and at least one year of teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year teaching experience in a teaching environment
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of theSpecial Education Program Administrator provides quality services to specialeducation students, kindergarten through grade 12.
