Job summary

Boothby Therapy Services is actively hiring Special Education Teachers across Vermont for the 2026–2027 school year. We offer diverse caseloads, strong support, and opportunities across Early Childhood to High School programs, including life skills and inclusive settings.

We emphasize collaborative teams with SLPs, OTs, PTs, and district staff, plus competitive compensation and personalized placement. We support educator well-being and professional growth in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field is required.
• Valid Vermont Special Education teaching certification or eligibility is required.
• Experience in special education settings is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and manage IEPs
• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student goals and educational needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
• Monitor and document student progress using data-driven practices
• Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and functional development
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development activitiesFoster inclusive, supportive learning environments that promote student success
