Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher in Pennsylvania to design and deliver individualized instruction that helps every student make meaningful progress. You’ll create a structured, engaging classroom supporting both learning and social-emotional growth.

You’ll develop IEPs, implement lessons with diverse methods, manage behavior, track progress, and mentor classroom staff to ensure consistent student plan execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and PA Special Education teaching certification.
• Minimum three months of experience working with students with disabilities.
• Knowledge of child development, differentiated instruction, and behavior management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
