Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated *Online Special Education Teacher* to support students with diverse learning needs in a fully online learning environment.

*Minimum Requirements*

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field
• Special Education teaching certification or appropriate professional qualification
• *Minimum 3 years of teaching experience*, with demonstrated experience supporting students with diverse learning needs

* *Proven experience teaching online/virtually*

• Strong understanding of individualized instruction, accommodations, modifications, and differentiated learning
• Ability to develop and implement individualized learning plans and appropriate interventions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership
• Comfortable using online teaching platforms and educational technology
• Ability to work independently, manage student records, and maintain consistent communication with families and the school team

*Preferred Qualifications*

• Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Experience working with students with learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, or other exceptionalities
• Experience with IEP development and implementation
• Experience using online assessment and progress-monitoring tools
• Experience working in a fully online or virtual school
