Job summary

Dobbs Ferry Union Free School District seeks a temporary (leave replacement) Special Education Teaching Assistant with proven experience working with students with special needs. Effective August 31, 2026 - December 23, 2026.

• Temporary leave replacement from Aug 31, 2026 to Dec 23, 2026.
• Salary commensurate with experience; $4.00 per hour add'l for toileting duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional services to students under general supervision of a certified teacher.
• Work with students with special needs and support IEP/504 goals.
• Assist with toileting/hygiene tasks and behavior support; collect data on behavior and skill acquisition.
• Lead or assist in activities, help develop educational materials, and perform other duties as assigned.
