Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. is seeking a Special Education/Instructional Associate to assist certified teachers in providing support for students with special needs. This role involves creating a supportive classroom environment and assisting with academic and social development.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma and be enthusiastic about promoting a diverse and inclusive atmosphere. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, as well as personal and sick day allowances.

Responsibilities

• Assist individual children with special needs.
• Prepare classroom activities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans.
• Administer, score, and record assessments.
• Work with small groups of students.
• Assist the certified teacher with non-instructional duties.
• Record data for students' I.E.P. goals.
• Assist substitutes in the absence of teachers.
• Maintain ethical behavior and confidentiality.
• Assist with school-sponsored activities.
• Demonstrate a positive demeanor when working with students.
• Perform other functions as directed by a certified teacher.
• Be punctual and maintain good attendance.
