Summit Management Consulting seeks a School Social Worker to assist students with academic learning through strategic services. You will work alongside parents, teachers, and community resources to address social-emotional issues that affect education.
The role requires a Master’s degree in School Social Work and certification as a School Social Worker in Michigan. The position is active, requiring engagement with students in various environments.
School social workers assist students with academic learning by providing strategic services that identify and address the social-emotional-environmental issues that interfere with the educational process. Working with parents/guardians, teachers, school principal/principal’s designee, and community-based resources, the school social worker implements strategies that promote students’ positive school adjustment.
There are no supervisory responsibilities with this position.
This job operates in a professional home office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
