Job summary

Compass Charter School is seeking a Special Education Technician to support related services coordination, IEP compliance, and data management. You will work with internal staff, providers, and families to ensure timely service delivery and documentation within SEIS/SIS systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration, confidentiality, and adherence to state and federal special education laws, with opportunities to work across blended and virtual learning environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree equivalent from an accredited college/university.
• 1+ year experience in a private/non-profit or school operations setting.
• Knowledge of special education services or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Identify and coordinate related service providers for IEPs.
• Maintain documentation for ISAs, Master Agreements and service-provider records.
• Monitor IEP timelines and prepare compliance reports.
• Upload and organize scholar records in SEIS and verify attendance in SIS.
• Coordinate and monitor provider access to SEIS and other systems.
• Collaborate with Special Education leadership to support compliance and operations.
