Job summary

Point Quest, Inc. is seeking a Special Education Transportation Driver in Stockton, CA. You will operate a school van on a Stockton to El Dorado Hills route, ensuring safe, timely transport for students with special needs.

You will supervise riders, assist with loading, and complete daily logs while adhering to safety standards and program guidelines. This full-time role offers benefits and a schedule aligned with school hours.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to use GPS/maps.
• Must pass DOJ/FBI Live Scan background check, TB clearance, 5-panel drug screen, and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school, following all driving laws and safety protocols.
• Supervise students during rides to keep the environment safe and calm.
• Load and unload students safely, securing wheelchairs or scooters as needed.
• Complete daily logs including attendance, behavior, 1:1, and fuel records.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections for cleanliness and function, reporting maintenance issues.
• Run program errands such as package deliveries and trips to events.
