Job Opportunity: Instructional Aide

Delta-T's client is seeking SEVERAL motivated and reliable Instructional Aides to work throughout the school year with low and mid-functioning students (IDD/MH/Autism) in a school environment in the Oakland area.

Client's Compensation and Available Hours
  • $18+/Hr. compensation depending on qualifications, availability, and skills.
  • School hours: Monday - Friday (7a-3p).
  • Must commit to the remainder of the school year schedule. No flexibility!
Summary of Client's Description of This Opportunity

Assist students in classroom activities, self-care, mealtime, and transportation (may include some lifting and positioning).

Client's Required Experience & Education
  • Experience or knowledge of MH/IDD and/or Autism with adolescents or in Special Education.
  • Experience working with youth with severe/multiple disabilities, preferably in an educational setting.
  • PA State Criminal Background, FBI (Dept. Edu), and Child Abuse Clearance (If you don't have all the credentials, let us know, we may be able to help!)

Must be reliable and dependable with both the care you provide and attendance.
