Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Aide in Victorville, CA to support students needing instructional and behavioral assistance under the supervision of teachers and the special education team.

The role is per diem with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour for up to 30 hours per week, requiring a high school diploma and current CPR where applicable, plus TB/health clearance and compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee.
• May provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by health professionals.
