Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Aide in Hesperia, CA to support students requiring instructional and behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department. The role is part-time, contract-based with 30 hours weekly.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal mobility and therapeutic care needs as directed by health professionals, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and local requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist students requiring instructional and/or behavioral support.
• Provide personal, mobility and therapeutic care support under supervision.
• Coordinate with special education staff to implement plans.
