SPECIAL EDUCATION RESOURCE TEACHER (GR 9-12)
BASSICK HIGH SCHOOL
STEP/SALARY: BA - 6TH YEAR / $50,825.00 - $102,758.00*
The Special Education teacher is responsible for developing plans for students, managing the classroom environment, providing students with instruction, and assessing students' knowledge, needs, abilities, and progress. The teacher assumes responsibility for the development of the student's Individual Education Plan (IEP) and consults with necessary school personnel to provide appropriate modifications and accommodations as mandated by the student's IEP.
