Qualifications

• Valid Arizona teaching certificate.
• Meets Arizona Dept. of Education certification requirements.
• Meets criteria of appropriately certified - Special Education.
• Minimum of a Provisional SEI, ESL or Bilingual Endorsement.
• Must pass a background check upon employment.
• Must possess a valid IVP Fingerprint clearance card.

Responsibilities

• Participate in TAP teacher instructionally focused accountability system.
• Attend ongoing professional growth groups (clusters).
• Collaborate with mentor and master teachers to enhance instruction.
• Align lessons to district curriculum and state standards.
• Develop and maintain an Individual Growth Plan (IGP).
• Use assessments to monitor student progress toward achievement goals.
