Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with IDEA, ADA, and state laws.
• Develop and implement effective special education referral processes.

Skills

Knowledge of general education curriculum

Knowledge of federal and state special education law

Strong communication skills

Ability to manage personnel

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field

Valid Texas teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement

Master’s degree in Special Education preferred
