Job summary

Devereux Day Academy in Landenberg, PA, is seeking an Education Program Coordinator to supervise staff, ensure compliance with state educational requirements, and support students with emotional, behavioral, or cognitive differences.

The role includes leading professional development, overseeing daily activities, and supporting the IEP process within a PBIS framework. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, 52 weeks, with growth opportunities and paid training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Required.
• PA Department of Education Instructional I Certification in Special Education Required.
• PA Department of Education Instructional II Certification in an area of instruction Preferred.
• Master's Degree Preferred.
• Experience in classroom and direct instruction Required.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of Special Education law required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and guidance to staff by communicating and ensuring compliance with state educational requirements and organizational and center standards of care.
• Oversee daily building-level activities, supports staff, meets with students, provides oversight and direction according to school standards, PBIS, and Devereux Policy
• Lead professional development sessions for Teachers and Support Staff on Special Education related material
• Support the IEP process
