• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly with sound judgment.
• Demonstrates a reliable, dependable work ethic.
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional client situations.
• Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Attend trainings offered by county agencies and the department of education.
• Develop and facilitate professional development on Special Education topics.
• Coordinate with enrollment team to understand volume and needs of newly enrolling Special Education students, gather documentation, and assign students to IS caseloads.
• Review Special Education documents (IEPs) for compliance and provide feedback to Intervention Specialists.
• Act as district representative at IEP meetings.
• Assist Intervention Specialists with parent communications as needed.
• Monitor compliance with timelines and data collection.
• Observe Intervention Specialists and provide feedback.
