Responsibilities

Works with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning.
Assists certified staff in devising strategies to reinforce materials based on student needs.
Monitors work, corrects papers, and supervises tests and makeup work as assigned.
Serves as information source for guest teachers in absence of the special education teacher.
Performs clerical, classroom maintenance, and instructional duties as directed.
Alerts staff to problems or information about individual students.
Supervises students at all times as requested by administration.
Acts as resource to General Education Intervention Team and/or IEP Team when asked.
