Job summary

Minimum qualifications include 21+ years old for secondary buildings, 2 years of college credits or a degree, or passing the Idaho Paraprofessional tests. The role involves physical tasks and occasional exposure to student needs. Training and supervision provided.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old to work in secondary buildings (middle/high).
• 2 years college credits or a college degree, or passing required tests.
• Idaho Paraprofessional Testing Alternative may be required and can be taken after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist special education teachers with IEPs and program goals.
• Prepare and modify teaching materials and presentations.
• Assist with testing and student assessments.
• Provide tutoring and support to individuals or small groups.
• Supervise students during field trips and activities.
• Maintain classroom organization and documentation as directed.
