Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience working with students with physical, cognitive and/or mild behavioral needs.
• Handle with Care training within three months of hire.
• Para Educator Assessment within three months of hire.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; team player.
• Flexibility based on program and student needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist students according to the IEP in various settings.
• Collaborate with teachers to deliver instruction and interventions.
• Supervise during lunch, field trips, and bus loading as needed.
• Model appropriate skills and support development of self-help tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality and data on student progress.
