Job summary

Morgan County Charter School System is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students in a classroom under the supervision of a certified teacher. The ideal candidate has at least two years of college credit or a high school diploma with passing GACE Paraprofessional test, and must be eligible for a Georgia Paraprofessional License.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of college credit OR a high school diploma and a passing score on the GACE Paraprofessional assessment test is required.
• Experience working with children of all ages is preferred.
• The individual must have or be eligible to hold a Georgia Paraprofessional License issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC).

Responsibilities

• Provide support services in the classroom under the direction of a certified teacher.
• Assist with modified instruction and support in self-contained settings including physical needs and mobility tasks.
