Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Arrange the learning environment and prepare displays and materials.
• Under supervision of a certified teacher, distribute and collect papers and instructional materials.
• Assist students with assignments, homework, and projects.
• Support classroom rules, provide guidance, and foster a positive attitude.
• Read to students and monitor reading progress.
• Assist teachers with lesson plans and implement activities.
• Tutor individuals or small groups as directed by the teacher.
• Support personal care needs and mobility of students.
• Supervise students and maintain a neat learning environment.
• Monitor student behavior and assist with behavioral plans.
• Participate in training and maintain confidentiality of student records.
• Meet schedules and assist with additional duties as assigned by administration.
