Job summary

Training is provided, and evening or weekend work may occur rarely. Qualifications include an Associate Degree or equivalent, or a path to highly qualified paraprofessional status.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree/equivalent or prior designation as a highly qualified paraprofessional.
• Experience with special education or people with disabilities preferred.
• Necessary training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in managing/monitoring student behaviors and provide assistance with academic work completion.
• Support students with disabilities including academic, social, behavioral, and functional needs.
• May work in mainstream or special education classrooms and assist with extracurricular activities or bus routes.
