Qualifications

• Ability to work with diverse learners in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist special services teacher with classroom management and individual student learning.
• Reads tests to students and makes accommodations from IEPs.
• Provide one-to-one or small group instruction under supervision.
• Participate in Para-supported classes and co-teaching opportunities.
• Maintain positive classroom environment and assist with materials and centers.
• Escort students to and from buses and between classes as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality per district, state, and federal policies.
