Job summary

Applitrack seeks a LI/AU Paraprofessional to support elementary students in a self-contained classroom for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves assisting a teacher, supervising students, and aiding with instructional activities in a structured special education setting.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Assist with classroom management and instruction for students.
• Provide attention and assistance, tutor individuals, and work in small groups.
• Support students outside the classroom during routines and activities.
• Assist with clerical duties and prepare classroom materials.
• Assist with physical needs of students, including toileting, dressing, lifting, and feeding programs.
• Participate in specialized programming such as signing or sensory activities as required.
