Qualifications

• Must complete CPI and Safety & Violence Training within 60 days of accepting position.
• Must obtain Educational Aide Permit with ESEA Qualifications through ODE prior to the first day of employment.
• Experience working with children with multiple and behavioral disabilities.
• Heavy lifting required (>50 lbs).
• CP I and Safety & Violence Training within first 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Record information, file data and prepare instructional materials as directed by the teacher.
• Collect data on individual student progress.
• Assist students with academic subjects and social skill development.
• Follow established behavior management strategies.
• Assist with independent seatwork and supervise group study.
• Support personal care tasks as needed for students with disabilities.
