Fulton County Schools is hiring a Paraprofessional to assist in a classroom environment. Responsibilities include preparing educational materials, working with students to reinforce learning objectives, and maintaining classroom routines. Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or GED and pass the GACE paraprofessional assessment or have equivalent coursework.
Ideal candidates will exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with children.
Paraprofessionals may serve in a classroom or media center. Incumbents are responsible for providing assistance to students and staff as indicated in the duties below related to the individual’s assignment.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Must pass the GACE paraprofessional assessment; in lieu of the GACE Assessment and have 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours of a grade of C or better; hold an Associate's Degree or higher at a GaPSC‑accepted accredited institution is acceptable.
Must be able to obtain Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certificate.
0 – 1 year experience required.
