Responsibilities

• Adapts classroom activities under teacher direction for all students.
• Confers with teachers to evaluate progress and support IEP goals.
• Implements instruction for individuals or small groups per IEP benchmarks.
• Supports implementation of behavior plans designed by IEP teams.
• Instructs students in math, reading, science and daily living skills.
• Maintains student files and instructional materials for accessibility.
• Monitors students during meals, play, and life enrichment activities.
• Performs data collection and clerical tasks to support DSC reporting.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate degree or 60 college credits
