About STMA Schools We are a district that serves over 6,700+ students and employs more than 750+ employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.

Position Overview & Responsibilities

This posting is to create a pool of applicants in anticipation of yet-to-be identified openings as they become available throughout the year. Special Education Paraprofessionals are responsible for working with students with disabilities in meeting the academic, behavioral and physical needs as identified in the goals, supports, or services of the IEP in either an individual or small group setting under the direction of the special education, classroom teacher or bus service personnel; maintain confidentiality of student and family information as required under FERPA. Start Date :To Be Determined. Contract : 183 days Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7 hours/day, times to be determined based on need, the 7 hours/day includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

FTE: 0.8125 (32.5 hours per week)
