Responsibilities

• Uphold and enforce school rules, administrative regulations, and board policy.
• Assist students with physical disabilities according to their individual needs, including transfers and positioning.
• Assist students with physical needs such as feeding, bathroom needs, and hygiene.
• Help manage student behavior and crisis intervention, including restraining disruptive behavior.
• Support learning by adapting to each student’s medical, physical, communicative, and emotional needs.
• Work with students or small groups to develop motor skills and conduct instructional exercises.
