Stillwater Area Public Schools is seeking a Special Ed Paraprofessional at Lake Elmo Elementary to support students in the classroom. This role requires meeting Minnesota's Highly Qualified standard and working 6.0 hours per day, Monday through Friday, on school days.

The starting pay is $21.00 per hour, with start date 10/2/2026 or ASAP. Candidates must provide documentation of qualifications, such as transcripts or ParaPro results, to be considered.

Job Summary: Paraprofessional will support students in the classroom.
Requirements: In order to work as a Special Education Paraprofessional, you must meet the state requirement of being Highly Qualified prior to your start date. To be considered Highly Qualified, you must have ONE of the following; a Bachelor's Degree or an Associates Degree, or 60+ hours of post-secondary education, or a Passing Score on the ParaPro Exam. Please be prepared to submit documentation in support of your qualifications. (Acceptable documentation includes transcripts from the college or a copy of the ParaPro Exam report.)
Hours per day: 6.0 hours per day, Monday - Friday (student contact days).
Start Date: 10/2/2026 - ASAP
