Orange Grove ISD is seeking a paraprofessional to support reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies for upcoming year. Candidate will work with young students, parents, faculty and staff, providing student care including feeding and toileting, and assist in instruction.

A minimum of 48 college hours or paraprofessional TOPs certification is required; passing criminal history/fingerprinting checks are required. The position follows a 187-day calendar.

Candidate should:

• Enjoy working with young students, their parents, faculty and staff members
• Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies
• Ideal candidate should possess excellent student care skills including but not limited to feeding, assisting, toileting, and direct instruction
• Possess computer literacy skills and office equipment knowledge
• Completed a minimum of 48 college hours or hold a paraprofessional certification by completing the TOPs Training
• Must pass criminal history/fingerprinting requirements
• Possess the ability to work a 187-work day calendar

Salary commensurate with years of service and qualifications
