Owatonna School District 761 is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students with academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Responsibilities include collecting data and collaborating with teachers to develop strategies for student success. Schedule is 7:45 am–2:45 pm, five days a week.

Position Summary: The Special Education Paraprofessionalprovides support and interventions for students with academic, social, emotional, and/or behavioral needs. Primary duties include supporting emotional regulationand successful participation in the classroom. Candidates will collect data and workin collaboration with classroom teachersto develop appropriate strategies to promote student success.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) andexperience working with students. Associate/Technical degree preferred.
Other Skills & Abilities:
- Maintain flexibility as a team member supporting staff and students.
- Maintain the confidentiality of allinformation regarding students.
- Perform duties within adaily schedule and with an awareness of all districtrequirements and Board of Education policies.
- Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
Schedule:
5 days per week / 7:45 am - 2:45 pm
Rate of Pay:
B-2-1: $20.54 - $24.42/hour depending on experience.
