New Story Schools in Middlesex Township, PA is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students aged 5–21 with autism and related challenges. You will collaborate with teachers to help students meet academic, behavioral, and daily living goals.

Under teacher guidance, you will implement IEPs, assist with transitions and personal care, collect progress data, and help maintain a safe, structured learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience supporting individuals with learning or behavioral disabilities is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

As a Special Education Paraprofessional at New Story Schools, you will work alongside teachers to support students’ academic, behavioral, and daily living goals. You’ll play a vital role in helping each student succeed through direct support, patience, and encouragement.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• At least three months of experience supporting individuals with learning or behavioral disabilities
• Knowledge of behavior management and classroom support strategies
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stay calm and consistent during challenging situations

• Support students with academic, behavioral, and self-care goals
• Implement IEPs and Positive Behavior Support Plans under teacher guidance
• Assist students with transitions, activities, and personal care as needed
